meet the founder
Meet Leila, the owner and instructor of Mind Over Matter Studio, located in Medfield, MA. Leila has practiced pilates for 30 yrs and has been teaching for almost 18 of those. She has completed extensive training in mat, reformer, and Stat pilates- including certifications in Pilates Suspension Method (PSM), her 200-hour certification from Open Doors Yoga Studio, and her 300-hour certification from Down Under Yoga Studio.
Leila’s classes are influenced by top instructors, blending creative pilates movement and exercise. Classes focus on aging gracefully, building a strong mind-body connection, and emphasizing mobility, flexibility, strength, and rejuvenation. Mind Over Matter Studio offers a supportive welcoming space for students to grow, in both in person and virtual classes.
